We’ll pick up your loads, so you don’t need to keep calling your carrier or find a last-minute replacement. However, if you do need a last-minute replacement, contact us and we’ll try to help.
We’ll notify you when the load arrives and you can trace your shipment from the time we leave your facility to the time we arrive at the retailer or warehouse. We likely already ship into that facility or 3PL, so we should know the best time to arrive to get the trailer unloaded quickly. We have a team dedicated to making those appointments who build relationships at the receiver and understand what we can do to help them on the receiving dock.
On-Time Shipments
We understand plants don’t often have extra storage space on the dock, making it even more important to arrive on time, with the correct equipment and paperwork. LiVe works with many warehouses that are both CPG and 3PL operated, so our dedicated team works to understand and adhere to the nuances each may have regarding their operations. It’s common for LiVe to have more experience working with a 3PL warehouse provider than some of our customers who may be shipping into a newer location.
We also understand drivers can arrive too early at many plants and warehouses, so we set arrival windows each driver must follow. Many facilities are busy and need to work through shipments in the order they’re scheduled. Many locations simply don’t have a large lot on property where drivers can park and wait to be loaded or unloaded, so we communicate arrival times. We also don’t want drivers to look for street parking out front and many municipalities don’t even allow trailers on the street in a line waiting to be unloaded. We’ll work to avoid being the reason the warehouse manager gets a complaint call because their shipments are blocking traffic.
